Question Posted Thursday August 17 2006, 1:19 am

College starts Monday and I'm having the same feeling I had the day before freshman year started in high school [really scared and in one week I already knew it was easy]. Is it the same going from high school to college [you're worried but soon learn how much easier it is than you thought]?

I'm just a sophmore in highschool, but here it goes. Freshman year I was fearless-ready for anything..Yesterday, I broke down crying because everything seemed to have changed. Today, as my third day of school I realized it was me not being myself and being way too quiet. and once I opened up I made a new friend and stayed closer with the older ones. Change is good-you just have to welcome it!!

Hey! I'm moving away to college for the first time too in 2 days. I'm scared too, but I'm also very excited. I like that I'm going to be independent, and I know that if I work hard and just focus on what I want...I won't fail.

Obviously, I don't know if college is going to be easier than what we've been told, but I know there's going to be a lot of adjustment to do, and if you stick with it, you'll be fine.

Good Luck! =]

going to college is stepping basically into the real world. it will be scarey at first but you will get ahold of it and will become extreamely easy. highschool is infact different becuz your still a kid and everything..

goood luck with your college year..
