Question Posted Wednesday August 16 2006, 12:03 pm
Alright, the reason why i think im depressed is because im sad and crying for no apparent reason, im extremely sensitive to what people say to me that are insults (even if its a joke), i do have some happy moments and days. The crying has last for almost a month, much longer than it was before, so im thinkin i need to see a doctor, but im not sure. Can you guys/girls help me out and tell me if im depressed or not?
ElizabethDiane answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 4:58 pm: The best thing for you is to see a doctor about it, He/She will probably send you to a physciotrist, which will be the best thing..if talking doesnt help you they'll probably put you on a anti-deppresent such as zoloft or paxil. Which I actually take zoloft as it is now. [ ElizabethDiane's advice column | Ask ElizabethDiane A Question ]

Here's what my sister thinks.
Some people are just sensitive, it's the way they are. I know a lot of people that are super-sensitive. It's not that you have a problem, it's just that you take things more serious than other people do. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. What I would do is talk to your friends about not joking around insulting you anymore. Like next time they say oh haha your so stupid just be like--can you guys not joke around with me like that please? I really don't like it.
queenhearts answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 2:37 pm: a lot of people go through this.
and sometimes you're just sad for no reason
it's normal..
a lot of people have taken a test and came out as 'clinic depression'
but they really aren't depressed.
