The problem is that my pubic hair grows very fast and it hurts to shave it. How else can I get rid of it?

Big scissors are just asking for accidents on a very sensitive area.
When you shave, shave in the direction the hair grows (mostly downward, but sometimes to an angle). You can soften the hair by holding a warm wet washcloth on the area for a little bit. Better yet, take a nice hot bath. After shaving, apply some lotion to keep the skin soft. Shaving removes a layer of skin and can cause dryness that is very uncomfortable in that area.
The more frequently you shave, the less discomfort you will have. [ blwinteler's advice column | Ask blwinteler A Question ]
WackyJackie answered Monday August 14 2006, 9:18 pm: Hello There!
I have the same problem. at first when i started to use nair. ouch! don't use nair! It burns and irritates the skin. Try using regular hair remover cream. make sure it says for "bikini"
if you want to use a razor. like others said, use mini scizzors. =]
Hope i helped!
hottie411 answered Monday August 14 2006, 7:31 pm: you can get hair removal cream hun, and if you don't want that, then you can trim your hairs with scissors, and then shave it from the bottom to the top
babiigirl answered Monday August 14 2006, 6:06 pm: Just like the person below me said. you should deff. trim with little Scissors before you try to shave. Trim it down to stubble almost then shave.
If you arent willing to continue to shave the only other thing i can think of is to wax. Which probly hurts like crap.
geegollyHOLLY answered Monday August 14 2006, 12:08 pm: first of all, this is CaptainL on geegollyHolly's sn. :] Yeah, I have the same problem. You might want to try trimming with scissors before shaving - to relieve the pain a bit. Don't shave UP - shave down from the TOP. Hope I helped!
