I can't trust her.

Question Posted Sunday August 13 2006, 10:00 pm

I have this friend who gets mad really easily, but you can't tell her anything. She is so untrustworthy. If she thinks you like a guy then she'll claim she's in love with them and i'm an awful friend if i try for them. She gets jelous easily also. I can't stand her anymore, but I have all my classes with her and all my friends are friends with her...:( so what should I do? She is driving me crazy. Please help. Thanks!

Just dont tell her anything anymore. You just said shes untrustworthy which means there is NO reason for you to be hanging out with her unless you want to be backstabbed.Let them be her freinds if they want, one day they will see her true colors.Just dont get too close to her.If you want to confront her you can but shell deny it since she acts like this.

if i were you, first, i would sit her down - just you & her, in person - and talk to her. tell her what you've noticed; how it seems that she can't let you have anything good, she gets jealous over everything good that happens to you, etc. tell her it's really bothering you and holding you back. tell her that she's your friend and you don't want to loose her, but the way she's been behaving isn't what a friend would do. don't get defensive, yell or use a mean tone - use a normal tone and try and be understanding so you give her no excuse to cause a scene. if she does, or she denies everything and refuses to change her ways, well, you tried your hardest and did everything you could to try and fix it. you want to distance yourself from her - in your classes, hang out with other people. try getting closer to some of your other friends. and, out side of school, start hanging out with other people (without her.) good luck!
