There is a scientific explanation which is that you have something in your joints called synovial fluid which acts as a lubricant. The fluid contains the gases oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. The popping or sound of a joint is gas rapidly released, which forms bubbles. You may also have brittle bones which makes it chronic but I wouldn't worry about it unless you are feeling pain when your joints pop, than you should seek a health care professional to diagnose your problem. Good Luck!

Namaste!

I have the same problem and I went to the doctor. It's perfectly normal but there isn't much you can do about it. It happens because your bones are more brittle than others. So that means, in addition to the popping, it's easier for you to break a bone. Also, if they hurt, it's mostly because you're growing. So drink your milk, and take your vitamins...thats all my doctor told me to do. If you want to hear it yourself to be on the *safe* side, you can go to the doctor.

What I do whenever I start popping though, is I try taking slower steps. It cuts down on the popping. Try not making any sudden movements.

I've had some of my bones clack, as I would call it. I've had my hip, my ankles, and my wrist. But, it has never hurt me...so I never got it checked out (and the noise has completely stopped now). I would go to the doctor.

Hope it works out,
Teacup

Being a cheerleader helps alot. I am a cheerleader..& i hae the smae aprobelms with my knees. I have been a cheerleader for 3 years and i know how joints tend to umm. " die" haha. i personaly would get a brace? I wear a brace on ym worse knee and it tends to pop out of mpbplace and back i which causes a lot of pain.. you should realy see a doctor. becuase joints need taking care of if you want to continue the sport && not cause more pain amongst yourself.. I personaly have had a lot of difficultys with my knee and refuse to see a docor.. acualy i lie.. i realy want ot see one.. but i dont knwo how to ask my parents.. so realy.. go se ea doctor or atleast call in a nd ask what oyu should doo.. if you need anything ask
