naturally_sadie answered Sunday August 6 2006, 10:18 pm: You're such a sweet guy! She's really lucky to have you. Anyway, try getting her a heating pad, if she doesn't have one already and put it on her lower stomach. Tell her to take warm showers and baths. Midol helps a lot, but it doesn't work for everyone. My friend thinks cramps hurt less if she's moving rather then sitting down. So maybe she could try LIGHTLY excersizing like taking a walk. Rub her and stuff it might take the pain away. Try all of those and see which one works for her because it varies from girl to girl.

kristen22 answered Sunday August 6 2006, 8:33 pm: Aw you are soooooo sweet to want to help her with this kinda' problem. Major points to you :)
Tell her to try these
~*2 Tylenol OR Midol
~*Apply heat to her lower stomach (this helps ease the cramps) Like she could take 2 washcloths, wet them and pop em' in the microwave for 30 seconds and keep applying it to her lower stomach.
~* Tell her to soak in a warm bath -as warm as she can take it. The heat will work wonders.
~*If she doesnt feel like taking a bath tell her to eat some hot soup or drink some cocoa. I've never tried it but my friends swear by it. [ kristen22's advice column | Ask kristen22 A Question ]
contradictionn answered Sunday August 6 2006, 6:39 pm: Midol doesn't work for me
so I'm not suggesting it.
If she goes to her doctor, they will prescribe her birth control pills--they lessen your period all together so less period means no pain.
and if you feel that not neccesary
then just sitting there comforting her with a heating pad on her belly helps. [ contradictionn's advice column | Ask contradictionn A Question ]
BecauseYouLivex3 answered Sunday August 6 2006, 4:30 pm: Aw thats so sweet. what you can do is make her soup as werid as it sounds soup really does help ! & The best pill to help get rid of cramps/headaches/backpain's etc is Midol ! it works awesome. You can probally get it in CVS or something. & Warm a bath/shower helps you feel better to. Also if shes going to be sitting up in bed have nice pillows to make her feel more comfortable. Hope I helped <3 [ BecauseYouLivex3's advice column | Ask BecauseYouLivex3 A Question ]
DonutHolez567 answered Sunday August 6 2006, 3:56 pm: You are one of the sweetst guys ever!
what you can do is:
have her drink a cup of hot tea or milk
have her take a warm bath (or shower, but baths are better)
make sure she took at least one advil (maybe two depending on weight)
hot soup might be good too.
have her put a hot water bottle or heating pad on her stomach.
and do something with her to take her mind off the pain like play a board game or watch a funny movie. or you know just sit with her and talk. anyother question feel free to ask. [ DonutHolez567's advice column | Ask DonutHolez567 A Question ]
