Number 2: Get a bowl of hot water, put your face right above it and cover your head with a towel. (instead of that you could put a hot washcloth on your face). This will open your pores.
Number 3: Do that for about 5 minutes then get FACEWASH and wash your face. Pat dry.
Number 4: If you have any spot treatment for acne like Neutrogena rapid clear or anything, dab a little on the breakout.
Wait about 2 or 3 minutes to go to the next step.
Number 5: Get a washcloth really cold with water, but then squeeze MOST of the water out to where it won't get your face that wet. Then put it over your face for a few minutes to close your pores.
There you are done! Trust me this will help (maybe not get rid of because it's extremely difficult to completely get rid of a zit in a day) than any other method. It will make it much smaller. So go do it now, the sooner the better!
Oh and don't forget to wash your face with facewash before bed and when you wake up tomorrow morning! [ theoriginalpinkkiss's advice column | Ask theoriginalpinkkiss A Question ]
Peachgirly answered Sunday August 6 2006, 5:20 pm: try the Neutrogena rapid clear acne eliminating gel and it makes acne less noticeable within 8 hours. Since you birthday party is tomorrow, I suggest that you should cover your acne with some makeup.
If you are not able to buy the neutrogena gel, here are some home remedies that you can try on this site. So far the only home remedy that I tried was the one with the toothpaste. The tooth paste remedy helps a little bit:
xlngwoodsbellax answered Sunday August 6 2006, 11:42 am: It sometimes helps if you put a little toothpaste on your zit while your asleep, or you can go out to a drug store and get an acne treatment with perioxide in it. Both will dry up with your zit, just dont expect it to be completely gone in the morning.
AmandasAdvice answered Sunday August 6 2006, 11:13 am: hey there's nothing that will work overnight but you will have to settle for long term treatments if you want your face to totally clear up. try washing your face twice a day - in the morning and before bed - with a acne wash or cleanser such as neutrogena. then follow up with a pore-refining toner and after using the toner, put a lightweight moisturizer that's oil free and designed to clear your skin on your face to finish. use all three products twice a day in the order i described and this should clear up your face in less than a week. if you need any more help just drop one in my inbox, hope i could help you and good luck!!
X0HMichelle answered Sunday August 6 2006, 2:37 am: HEY!! Calm down. Haha.
Drink tons & tons of water.
take a hot washcloth and put hott water on it and put it on your face this will allow your pours to open letting your face breathe.
You can apply your acne stuff but just the normal dosage sometimes if you put too much it irrates the skin.
You can apply avacado on your face too (mash it up first) or mash up cucumbers and apply it on your face. Masks also work very well. As well as toothpaste.
Hope i helped!!
