iPod video

Question Posted Saturday August 5 2006, 2:00 pm

I know this is probably a stupid qustion, but I can't find it anywhere else.
I was wondering if it is possible to have videoes on your iPod that you don't have on your iTunes/computer. AKA: can I download some videoes onto my iPod and then delete them from my computer and not have them deleted when I update my iPod again?
I have an iPod video by the way.
sorry if it's confusing.

yeah, but you have to update your ipod manually. instead of hookin it up and clickin on 'update' or whatever it is, you have to change the settings to manual update. if you delete songs/vids off your computer they'll stay on your ipod.. but then when you want to add stuff to your ipod, you just have to drag em onto your ipod one at a time to update it. sry if thats confusing, msg me if you need any more help!

Nope. You have to hook your ipod up to the computer, & then you delete it on itunes & it will delete on your ipod too.

hope that helped, kbye
