sorry if this is in the wrong category but i'm kinda worried cuz my period is 8 week late .. i'm 13 && first got it 2 years ago .. i kno it's not normal soo is that like bad or something? Last time i had it was June 17 which was like 2 months ago! && it still hasn't come. Any advice? thanks!
RockStoleMySoul answered Thursday August 3 2006, 12:50 pm: Well, you're still a young and developing young woman. Sometimes you can have irregular periods. There's nothing wrong with you hon. You just don't have regular periods yet. When you get older it will regulate and you will be able to pin point the exact day you'll get it because your body will be done growing. But until then, your body is going through many changes so irregular periods can be expected.

But usually some factors that can delay periods are stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise. If you feel that none of these apply to you, consider taking some vitamins daily and consult your doctor, or gynocologist. In the meantime, wait it off -- it could just be a part of a stage your body is naturally going through. Your hormones control the periods.
