applying eyeliner

Question Posted Tuesday August 1 2006, 9:39 pm

Someone told me to apply eyeliner below the bottom lashes to make your eyes stand out. Wouldn't it look weird if it wasn't right near your eye?

as long as the eyeliner kinda blends in with the lashes, like kinda put the liner in your lashes [the bottom of them] towards the skin.

It will look ok below the lower lashes if you blend it in to make a smoky-eyed look but having a bold line doesn't make any sense.
I suppose they might have been trying to tell you line your lower rims?

Well, yeah your eyes would look kinda creepy if they weren't above the lashes because then your eyes wouldn't stand out as much in a good way haha. Anywho what you do is put a nice live surrounding the top of your lashes on your lower lid. If you want your eyes to stand out more maybe add a little more but remember, too much eye liner = BAD so I hope I helped you out!!

Much love && sunshine!

Im not sure, but I think this person mightve meant to draw it down below the eyelash, but apply it in the normal spot too, you know? To make a bolder line that really does make your eyes POP.

yea i have never heard of applying them under neath your eyelashes and even the sound of it makes it sound stupid. I apply the eyeliner wear most people wear it and that is above the eyelashes.
