videos on limewire
is it safe to download videos on limewire? because when my uncle downloaded limewire to my computer [hes really good with computers] he told me that i should only use it to download music, nothing else.

Only download stuff that's the appropriate size for the length of it. Also, scan files before you open them.

Downloading music from Limewire or any other p2p network or bittorrent is illegal unless you own the CD. It's called pirating music, i'm sure you've heard the term. The RIAA is handing out lawsuits left and right for that. I do it anyway, but you need to know that it's illegal. As for videos, if it's a movie, same rules as with music, you must own it first. It's it's the random internet mess you normally find, then it's fine to download it.

erll i down load vidoes all the time, you guess have to be care of what your downloading, i don't download anything under 30k kb, when it's videos

yea i downloaded like a music video on limewire, and i got a virus (i was getting promiscuous) and so then i tried a didfferent one, and i also got another virus. those viruses arent too bad for the computer, but its best to just stick with downloading music.
