if someone sends you a picture from their cell phone, will the phone say if you saw it or not ?

hey, it depends on the phone company. with cingular, when you get the phone bill a picture text message just counts as a regular text message and also costs the same. but with my friend jeni who has a verizon phone, it says picture text message on the phone bill and cost a little more money.

It actually depends on the phone. With my phone I can. There is an envelope next to every message I send and if the flap closed that means the person hasn't gotten it. If it's open then they have looked at. But usually, most people don't notice. That's for phones though. In your subject line you said to computers so I'm not completely sure about that, I've never tried it.

Nope. The only way for them to know whether you viewed their picture or not is if you send them a response. And you can usually save the picture to your phone and delete the message so that you are just left with the picture in your images folder and no messages in your inbox.
