orphans answered Sunday July 30 2006, 3:13 pm: It actually depends on the phone. With my phone I can. There is an envelope next to every message I send and if the flap closed that means the person hasn't gotten it. If it's open then they have looked at. But usually, most people don't notice. That's for phones though. In your subject line you said to computers so I'm not completely sure about that, I've never tried it. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
OnlyTheRightAnswers answered Sunday July 30 2006, 3:09 pm: Nope. The only way for them to know whether you viewed their picture or not is if you send them a response. And you can usually save the picture to your phone and delete the message so that you are just left with the picture in your images folder and no messages in your inbox.
