But I know it can flare up, then disappear for (literally) years before showing up again. Or, you can have it and never even know it until it flares up for the first time. I'm no doctor, but maybe cutting causes it to flare up. Or the excema-like rash is your body's defense to germs you're exposing yourself to by cutting.
Regardless, you're cutting yourself and that's not good (even if it's NOT causing your apparent excema). You should really see a doctor, for the rash AND a referral to someone who can help you. If you're cutting yourself, it can be a sign of depression or some other psychiatric condition. You need help with this, and someone who really knows what they're talking about can give you the assistance you need.
