apartments and fliers
okay so i live in a apartment and i only live with my dad. well i want to start baby-sitting i made fliers and printed them out and i was going to put them in the mail room, but my dad is really i mean really overprotected and he said i couldnt do it. i really need the money too. so wat should i do?

Like everyone else said your father doesn't want you to do it for obvious safety reasons. The world is messed up enough today so someone may abduct you and that's not a good case.
Anyway, explain to your father that you need money, because you don't like asking him for it and that you would like to be more independent so you don't have to ask for every little thing. Another thing you could do is, have your daddy ask around work to see if there is anyone that needs to have there kids watched! That way your father knows the people from work and wouldn't worry that much about it.

yeah it's not safe to post fliers... i took a class for babysitting & it's not safe. if you attend church, you can post one there or tell people there with little kids that if they ever need a sitter to call you. you could do things around the house and see if he'll give you money for that. try babysitting for relatives too. <3

I say you make some kind of deal w/ your dad like make a chore list and get a weekly allowance. As for your dad being overprotective its only because he cares about you. (:

3) ask people you know and trust that have kids
4) dont baby sit people you dont know
