Weight loss

Question Posted Tuesday July 25 2006, 7:10 pm

I'm 16 years old, 5'2, and overweight. I have some issues controling what I eat. I haven't gained any weight in over a year. I need some advice on some exercises and diets to help me lose weight. I don't have a lot of time to exercise because I go to school and have tons of homework. I do however walk up and down at least ten flights of stairs a day going from class to class during school. Any advice will be appreciated.

I know that this is really weird, but pretty much everything you do burns calories; even sleeping and chewing gum!!!! Also, if you have a gym period, you can exercise then. And if your not busy on weekends, you could spend time with your family and exercise at the same time if you feel like going to the park or jogging together.

I hope I helped you!!!!!

I know a lot of exercises to help.
But I see you don't have too much time on your hands.
so I'd suggest about 30 sit ups before you go to sleep.
and about 25 leg squats.
It shouldn't take too long.

good luck

i'm guessing you are a girl. most girls today believe that they're overweight, i being a male have recognized so.

anyways, eat low carbohydrate foods. excercise each day for 25-30 mins. drink lots of water

=)

my mom was told that the key to dieting is portion control. although the cookies and sweets are all appealing, learning to control them is the key to controlling your weight. exercising is an important thing to do, healthwise. You can always make time to exercise hun. Take a 20 minute break from your homework every night and maybe do crunches and leg lifts to your favorite songs. When watching tv, get off up the couch and do some simple exercises. In the end, do what you want to do & im always wishing you good luck =]
