i want to be ready for school this year. i'm going to 8th grade, and i want it to be the best year, since it is the last year of middle school.
so what are science && social studies fair topics i can use for school? i want to get it ready so that i won't have to worry about it when it's brought up. i also need writing topics so that i can start on a short story i'm going to enter in a writing contest later in this year.

There are many different conspiracies you can talk and thousands of websites, books and other information to help you. Many people are interested in the subject and you probably get notice from your teacher! (One thing to talk about is the Magic Bullett vs. Warren Commission Report)
If you read on in my column, you will see my advice on a science fair project I gave!
And for your writing, write what you know about and what interests you! This will definitley captivate your readers!

One year a did a huge project on the U.S. I know that sounds over done, but I got an awesome grade on it and it still helps me remember stuff for classes now. If you want to play it safe, pick something you know lots about. Make it creative and show what you know. But trust me, doing a project on something you don't know much about is better. You will put more effect into your project if you know that your knowledge on the the topic is limited. Try foreign countries, economic problems, or world issues. (If you decide on a foreign country try Macedonia) About your short story, try basing it loosely on an event in your life. It will make it easier to begin.
