Japanese punk musicians:

Asian Kung-Fu Generation*
Ellegarden
GO!GO!7188 or go go nana ichi hachi hachi
5.6.7.8.'s* (Their music is on the Kill Bill soundtrack)
Shonen Knife
Pillows
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant

For ska, there is Judy and Mary* (Try the "Cheese Pizza" song). Loveholic is another wonderful band but they are not punk, just Korean pop rock more like. Cibo Matto is like indie rock and so is Gazette. Dir en Grey is like hard rock and metal. I don't like them that much but others might.

Ugh! I wish I knew other punk musicians! I don't know where to search. You can also try Ask Yahoo! for more help.
