My legs are really thin, but I have streach marks at the very top. Nobody can see them but me. But they still really bother me. And I told my mom, and asked her if I could get some cream stuff, and she said no. What should I do?

I know it works cause my Aunt used it when she was pregnant. Stretch marks are normal though and since everyone gets them where the skin is growing then I wouldnt worry about it. Especially if nobody can see it [ x3candiigrl's advice column | Ask x3candiigrl A Question ]

Maybe she is concerned why you care about it being there like "why is she trying to make that area perfect who's gonna see it?" I don't know but if you can't manage to convince her then you could try some Vitamin E, it's supposed to help get rid of scars so it may help with stretch marks but I am defintely not an expert. All I can say is to prevent anymore stretch marks (which everyone gets) make sure you use lots of lotion, it improves the skins elasticity which helps prevent stretch marks, that's why pregnant woman use cocoa butter on their tummies. Hope this helped some. [ MissKanona's advice column | Ask MissKanona A Question ]

When a person grows or gains weight really quickly (like during puberty), that person may get fine lines on the body called stretch marks. Stretch marks happen when the tissue under the skin is pulled by rapid growth or stretching. Although the skin is usually fairly elastic, when it's overstretched, the normal production of collagen (the major protein that makes up the connective tissue in your skin) is disrupted. As a result, scars called stretch marks may form.
