Swelling
Alright i got my tongue pierced like 5 or 6 days ago. And today it finally went down like major (the swelling) then out of nowhere the bottom is very very swollen.
Is this normal??

I got mine pierced a couple years ago, and it did the same thing. My twin sisters' did also, so yes, it is normal. =]

No! Go see your doctor IMMEDIATLEY. You can die from toungue infections.

Tongue piercings swell up and go down a lot randomly. I'm pretty sure it's normal though, so I wouldn't worry to much.

I've had my tongue pierced and I was told swelling & the healing process takes several weeks, even over a month. Luckily for me, the swollen only last a little after a week. So yes, from experience.. it is normal. Give it another week or so & if it hasn't gone down a little bit, then go back to the place you got it done & get an opinion from them just to be on the safe side.

i don't have my tongue pierced, but i heard of that before. i think it's somewhat normal. i mean think about it, you jammed something metal into your tongue, soo it probably will do that. swelling stays for awhile, especially with a tongue piercing. if it doesn't get better, er even gets worse, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go back to the place & ask about it.
