I was cleaning my keyboard and I pressed a button that accidently muted my computer! I dont know what button but lime green text came up on my screen that said Mute On and now I cant hear anything. How do I turn it off?
orphans answered Saturday July 22 2006, 2:52 pm: That's a mute button. Look for a button that has a picture of a speaker-looking thing, and press it again to turn mute off. Or, at the bottom of your screen (where the time is) there are little icon things. There should be one that is a gray speaker-looking thing that has a red line across it. Double-click it and uncheck "mute all." [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

Then click the box next to mute to unmute it! For any more questions message me! [ oXoCutiex6's advice column | Ask oXoCutiex6 A Question ]

It mutes and unmutes my computer, but I donno what type of keyboard you have.
