I was told to move my arm around in circular motion & take Ibuprofen if it was unbearable. It should go away within a day or so.

Ibuprofen and cold compresses are about all you can do. Sorry, it will probably feel better tomorrow. :)

When I got the same shot my doctor just recommended me to take some ibuprofen for it to relieve the pain and it works. And the pain will last a few days so whenever the pain comes back, take another dosage of it, and the pain will go away for awhile!

as far as i know, you'll just have to wait it out. the pain from mine went away in about a day, maybe even less. it sucked because i play piano, but it was only a day. it would probably help if you tried to not use it a whole lot (and by this i mean that if you play softball/baseball, maybe you shouldn't play for a day or two and it will feel better a lot sooner). soon enough, you'll forget about the weird feeling, and once you remember it'll be gone! haha, that's what happened to me. i left school early, got my shot, and went back to school and totally forgot about it until i was trying to eat dinner and my arm was hurting from holding my fork.

Hi...

I got my tetnus shot last year, and sadly I was in the same position you were. My doctor told me that I'm going to have to deal with the pain and wait it out. Luckily, the soreness only lasted a day for me, so hopefully you'll be as fortunate as me and tommarow your arm should feel good as new! Sorry that I couldn't help. But theres no miracle workers that can just zap away the pain of your arm. It would be cool if there were any though. =]
