toxic shock syndrom

isnt it possible to get toxic shock syndrom if u leave a tampon in for more than 6 hrs? and has any body heard of the Divacup and would u recomend it for menstral cycles?

you can leave a tampon in for upto 8 hours. above that, its risky

well it depends on how heavy your flow is, but yes you should usually change your tampon every 6 hours. some people leav e it in for more, but i see no need for that, if you leave it in that long when you pull it out its going to look like a loofah! but if you do leave it in for longer than 7-8 hours yes you can get TSS and its pretty serious but if you realize that your tampons still in take it out as soon as you remember and you'll get better. and i have no idea what a Divacup is! sorry
