You should have mentioned it was a special ed teacher because maybe that is why no can fire her. Some special ed teachers are hard on students because they think it is easier for special ed kids to be spoken to sternly rather than all soft and nice .Hope this helps!!:)I would love to hear how it goes when school starts !!)
