the problem: two of my best friends absolutely hate each other. when im with each one alone, we get to talking and talk bad about my other friend. i feel really bad but everything we say is true! sometimes i may tell the other friend what they said and agree with the person i told. i am a backstabbing friend? i feel awful but what should i do?!

Maybe give some free advice about: Friendship? laycieee answered Thursday July 20 2006, 6:50 pm: This has happened to me alot, I guess what you really need to do is when the subject of the other friend comes up, either change the topic or maybe try and get your friends to like each other. You're not a bad friend, but eventually one of your friends might find out that you were talking about them behind their back, so it would probably be best to try and not do that anymore. If you want your friends to like each other, what you might want to try doing is tell them that you don't want to choose, they're both your best friends and you don't want to be the one stuck in the middle. It's not fair to you and if they both really are your best friends then they'll listen to what you have to say and will try harder.
