so i'm a xc and track runner, and i want to lose a little bit of weight. i run 5-8 miles a day and i don't want to not eat enough. about how many calories a day is enough for someone who exercises this much? and how much should i get if i want to lose a few pounds?

Hey I asked my mom this, she trained to be a nutritionist, she said that a minimum should be about 1500 a day as you are burning quite a bit. The best way to find out because it differs with size, weight etc is to ask a health care professional.
