Qualification Needs

Question Posted Thursday July 13 2006, 9:49 pm

Ok, so this may sound lame but I really need to know this. How old do you have to be to get a job at HOLLISTER, ABERCROMBIE&FITCH, RUEHL or abercrombie. I hear the have real good salaries but I've never asked how old you need to be to be able to work there. Also they say on their website that you send in a resume. What should it look like? Is there any sites with examples of one and help on how to make one? Please answer!

If you search google for "free resume builder", it will help you. Also, Microsoft Word has a resume builder. You just input your experience or skills and it pretty much does everything for you. Make it as professional looking as possible. Also you have to be at least 16 to work at the mall, which is where most of these stores are. They might require you to be 18. Just call and ask them, you don't have to give your name or anything so it's no big deal - and then you'd get the for sure answer, not just one from some advice columnist! :) Good luck.

at abercrombie && hollister, they have computers by the cash registers where you can apply for a job. i know that here [cincinnati, ohio] you have to be 17 to work at abercrombie, and 16 to work at hollister. but since EVERYONE wants to work there, it's kinda tough to actually get a job there. and when/if you get the job.. they usually are over-staffed.. which would mean you get less hours. so basically you would get paid well, BUT you don't get that many hours. so you wouldn't really be making more there, than another job that pays a little less. at least at the other job, you would get more hours. to where you would actually make MORE money. GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING.
