How do I get a car?
My parents have a 1997 Buick for my brother, sister and I to use when we learn to drive. Well, my brother is going to college and I get the car for the next three years. I am worried about getting a car when I am on my own. I probably won't have a big enough budget to get a new car. Any help? (PS, I'm not allowed to get a job while I'm in school, just in the summer. Also, money will go to my education before a car.)

alright you need a car, you need a cheap car, and you're on a super tight budget. your best bets are gonna be one of the following.
1993-1995 lincoln markVIII
1987-1992 lincoln markVII
mid 90's subaru SVX
mid 90's subaru impreza
early 90's mercedes 190E
mid 80's mercedes 300 SD
late 80's volvo 240DL
toyota cressida (any year)
mid 70's-mid 80's jaguarXJ6
mid 80's nissan 300ZX
late 80's-early 90's nissan 240SX
these cars are the only ones i'll list for you because they're reliable, guaranteed to last you a good 5-10 yars with low maintenence and can be had for cheap. hell i just recently bought a 1977 jaguar XJ6 (one of the ones on the list) for $1300 and i've driven her from austin texas, to houston texas and back. the thing is a tank and doesn't take much work to operate properly. cars are easy and the ones i listed are like diamonds in the rough.

I got a nice car for $6,000, it's really not hard. Just look around and save and stuff.

All you can do is just SAVE SAVE SAVE youre money. You can always asked one of your family members to help you out a little?(mom,dad,granda,aunt,ect.) And if worse comes to worse, try to get another job during the winter,Since youre not allowed...Tell them youre feelings about this situation and they might change their minds.
