WHY DON`T YOU START HELPING AROUND THE HOUSE?!" and he yells at me. it`s sucks. i don`t think my dad likes me the way i am too. i recommend just telling ure dad the truth. tell him "dad, sometimes i feel you don`t like me the way i am. i don`t like to be changed.. i`m confident and happy w/ who i am and i want you to be happy with the way i am too..." and just have a nice long talk w/ him. and i think he won`t get pissed bc ure just expressing how you feel about him..

You may be family but you are two different people, with different ideas, attitudes, and styles. Tell him you need to be yourself or else you feel like a different person. I'm sure he'll understand.
