If someone is on birthcontrol (the pill) and they had sex.. whats the likelyness of them getting pregnant. And they've been on the pill for half a month.
Bluebell78 answered Saturday July 8 2006, 3:48 pm: The birth control pill does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). if you having sex condoms always be used along with birth control pills to protect against STDs. 5 to 8 out of 100 typical couples who rely on the Pill to prevent pregnancy will have an accidental pregnancy. Of course, this is an average figure and the chance of getting pregnant depends on whether you take your birth control pills every day. The Pill is an effective form of birth control, but even missing 1 day increases the chance of getting pregnant.each type of birth control method works depends on a lot of things. These include whether a person has any health conditions or is taking any medications or herbal supplements that might interfere with its use. Pill works best when it is taken every single day at the same time of day, regardless of whether a girl is going to have sex.If pills are skipped or forgotten, a girl is not protected against pregnancy and she will need a backup form of birth control, such as condoms, or she will need to stop having sex for a while.do not use a friends or sisters pills. i did reserch on this and another fact is that there are possiblities that you can have a stroke. if you want to check this site out here it is-
im not trying to be rude or anything but... are you old enough? alot of people have made commitments to wait for sex till after marriage and i have too. you dont know whats going to happen. something could. its just that even though i dont know you i am worried about you. you could get pregnant. condoms arent even that protective but i havent used one but so far i have seen them work. i just want you to ask yourself these questions before you get yourself into trouble. please dont get mad reading this but are you ready? its your desicion. no one can stop someone from making their own decisions and that includes me. but if your ready for the experience i say go for it.
i just hope thats the decision you want to make and im trying to make you feel guilty. and this just between you and me even though its going in my advice column but... i hope everything works out and if have anymore questions please, please, PLEASE dont be afraid to ask. like i say to everyone- i am on everyday, dont be afraid to ask, and i hope i can answer your question.
i hope i answered your question and hey you caught me the second i came on. how about that!! well good luck and i wish you the best of it. feel free to ask me more questions!! and sorry this was so long.

I hate when people think that just becasue your on the pill, you dont need a condom. I STRESS, YOU DO NEED A CONDOM! lol. But, yeah your probably not pregnant...but there is always a chance. IF you used a condom, then i honestly doubt you are.
