i have a friend (guy) and we're keeping in close touch over the summer -- emailing, phone.
i guess this isn't that important, but i still want some advice. well, in his emails he always wants me to call him. and i do.
sometimes i say things like 'im free to talk over the weekend.. call!' but he insists for me to call. no big deal, but he hasnt ever called my house or cell since we've started talking over the phone. and when im constantly the one calling his house, it makes me sound kind of desperate.
i dont want to be rude to point it out to him because maybe he wont call at all on purpose. why do some guys not like calling girls? and what are some harmless clues to get him to call ME?
kat_kentin answered Wednesday July 5 2006, 4:39 pm: Your problem might be as simple as his parents don't let him call anyone, but if someone calls him he can talk. Then again, maybe he's afraid that your parents will answer the phone and he'll have to talk to them. [ kat_kentin's advice column | Ask kat_kentin A Question ]

If he is always wanting you to call him, why not just give him a friendly tip such as: "Hey, sorry, but I can't call you right now, you can call my house if you want to..." or something along similar lines.
Some guys are afraid of talking to girls period, and the thought of calling them makes us very nervous sometimes. Perhaps he'll get over it and call you once-in-awhile. [ Cipher's advice column | Ask Cipher A Question ]
