i like my brother's best friend
I'm 13/f
I have a really big crush on my brother's best friend (we'll call him Tim). Tim and my brother are going into 9th grade this year and i'm going into 8th. I don't think he has ANY idea that I like him...he usually goes out with girls his same age...which means he would NEVER consider going out with me (i mean...i'm only a year younger). If my brother found out I liked Tim, I think he would totally flip out and make fun of me for the rest of my life...and he would also tell him! I'm ebarrassed that I like this guy...but he's really nice to me and unlike other guys, he's really sensitive and cares about peoples feelings. Is there ANY way I can kind of...you know...let him know I like him secretly?? without just saying it...like giving him a clue? HELP =/

flirt with him.. a lot and make it so its not obvious to your brother but maybe to him? do stuff that he likes and dont act immature around him.. i dont think guys mind going out with girls that are only a year younger.. once you get into middle school and highschool it erally doesnt even matter anymore.. so just maybe have a serious talk with your brother about it.. and maek sure he doesnt tell tim that you likehim and make fun of you.. just maybe have your brother see if tim likes you too.. hope i helped xoox

hi my names Jessica .. and i have an older brother too .. and i once liked his friend but we have a 3 year differece ... the best thing you can do .. is always talk to him .. when hes not around try to get close to your brother soo when he comes around and there watchin tv u can watchin tv with them .. umm ask him if he has msn or anything ... try to look realy good when he comes over .. and when your brothers be like you gottta come over more often .. and walk away and always smile when around him if you know he likes sumthin for example basketball be like im going to shoot hoops ...

Your age difference is no problem at all, so don't feel like he wouldn't consider dating you just because of your one-year age difference. Flirt with him whenever you're with him, ex. laugh at his jokes, look at him and smile, and use any exuse to talk to him :] It could be hard with your brother in the way, but don't tell him you like his friend and then have your brother tell him. Most guys like to hear it from the girl themselves that you like them (I've already made the mistake of having someone else tell my crushes I liked them before) and it would be immature to do that also. Just try not to be nervous around him and make friends with him.
