back sweat

Question Posted Sunday July 2 2006, 4:26 pm

Sorry about the Category.. I'm not sure which one it should be under.
Anyway, I play soccer a lot and I sweat A LOT on my back. It's really really disgusting and embarassing, because it leaves a huge sweat mark on my shirts. I've tried wearing another shirt underneath, like a cami, but it gets even hotter and more sweat comes. Same thing with black shirts; it just makes me sweat more. I'm starting soccer again in the middle of the month, and it's going to get really hot. So my question is, is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of sweat? Is there anything I can do that won't show the sweat as much?
Thanks in advance. =]

sweating is nothin to b embarrased about....everyone sweats, wen i played soccer i sweat, and even though you might think it's emabarrasing, it's not cuz it happenes to everyone. if you are sill bothered by it, try to wear shirts that are lose at the sleaves so that wind can go through while ur running and you wont sweat as much. but believe me and everyone else, NOTHIN TO BE EMBARRASED ABOUT!
hope i could help
take care and good luck

I played soccer for a while and really, it doesn't make a difference. everyone sweats a lot and it's not a big deal, it just means you're playing hard and are healthy. don't be embarrassed by it, the rest of your team is probably the same way. you could try getting a looser shirt so it doesn't stick to you but other than that, you can't stop yourself from sweating. cut the sleeves off your pratice shirts and lower the neckline if that helps. for your uniform, you could get those things that tie your sleeves up. <3

Hey.
When you play sports, people hardly notice if you sweat because everyone else does. But if you still are self-consicious (haha, sorry, I can't spell!) about how much you sweat, wear like a cami under your shirt and bring an extra. So after your pratice is over, and u have sweated all over your over-shirt, you can take your shirt off without worrying about people seeing anything and just put the shirt over it.

It works for me: i play hockey, so I know how it's like. Wrap yoour water bottle in it or stick in in a bag with your regular shoes or just leave it in your rides car.

Hope this helps!!
