um is she a true christian am i a christian
hi um i chose to ask you this because i say you were a christian aswell this may get a little long lol ok here it goes
awhile ago my freind invited Me to yc i dont no if u no wat it is buti will explain its like where all these teenagers get together for a weekend to celebrate god and listen to christion rock bands and listen to poeple talk like miles mcphearson so any way i did not want to go because i did not beleive in god i was s scared i would be bored and stuff.but it turned out to be awsome and while listening to miles mcphearson i turned into a christian it was great but i stil had a few unholy things i wanted to do like smoke pot the reason why was because i was switching citys and wanted do it safely whith freinds insteed of get preessed into it and another thing my freinds do is a so called possesing themselves so anyway my christian freind got mad bbecause i let them do this in my house and i wanted to smoke pot she said i wasnt a christian so i got mad and then like the next day i found out she took a shot of my dads alchol so i got angry naturrly because she totally broke my trust she has also done other lieing things aswell i just want to say i did not end up smoking pot so am i a christian and is she and i should i still be her freind?

Well when you are a christian, you cant really call someone a "true christian"its more than just being good, and believing in God. Its your spiritual connection to God, and wanting to be good for him, not because being a christian means that.
We all make mistakes, and just because you do something thats sinning, doesnt mean your not a christian, because there is something called Grace.. when we are forgiven for doing a wrong thing.
You can make mistakes, and ask God to forgive you, and just because you do something doesnt disqualify you as a Christian, nor your friend. Now Smoking Pot and stuff is wrong in my opinion, because its just not smart to do. Because as you probably know drugs and stuff like that lead to other more addictive drugs. But your friend taking a shot, thats bad too, and I know why you would be mad, because she told you that you werent a christian because you made a mistake, but so did she. And you both be forgiven if you ask God to.
I'm not the perfect christian, not by far, nor the perfect person. I make a butt load of mistakes but I'm forgiven even though I dont deserve it.
And its good you didnt end up smoking the pot,
but her lying to you has nothing to do really with if she is a christian or not. We all lie at times, and we all make big mistakes and little.
And you cant call youreslf a christian just because you dont do bad stuff anymore, its whenyou feel God in you I guess, and you are very sure that he is real, and its really no way to explain it, but its not all just being good and not smoking.
You should stil be her friend if you want to, but confront her about it, and tell her how you feel about it. About the lying, and that part of being a christian is that we are allowed to make mistakes because theres something called grace and that we should ask for forgiveness from God. But that doesnt mean we should sin just because we know we will be forgiven, it means that if we do happen to make a mistake we will be forgiven, but we really should try to be like God as much as we can.
