Get over him? (Long)
Well, I live in New Jersey, and there is this really cute boy named Tiger (it's his nickname, lol)
In the beginning of the year, Tiger and I became friends (I did not have a crush on him at the time). Then, I started to notice him, and started to like him. We were friends (Or so I *thought*). Until this aquaintance of mine (after I told her I liked him), she said "Oh, Tiger? I heard him and his friend talking about you. They said that you were kinda mean.
But I told them that you were really sweet" And she kept saying that. So, I trusted her, and basically eliminated Tiger from my life, and (xD gosh, I regret this now) I started being kinda mean to him. So, we weren't friends anymore. Later in the year, I discovered that my aquaintance Callie (the girl I told you about earlier) was a gossip, and she liked him too.
Then about 6 months after Tiger and I weren't friends anymore, our school took a trip to Paris for 5 days. I was in his group (but I had gotten over him by this time). Well, while we were there, we became friends, FAST. It was like magic really. And basically the whole trip, we talked to each other only.
So we came back. Things were a little different, but we were still good friends. And he sure acted like me, and all my friends would tease me on the trip and say "wow..he was all over you" and stuff like that. Anyways, it was pretty clear that he liked me.
I became friends with another girl named Tori. She told me she liked Tiger. I told her that I liked him too, and "Oh...maybe he likes you as well" So she started throwing herself at him. The closer she got to him, the farther Tiger and I grew apart. Then Tori told me one day that Tiger said "I'm glad Lily (me) doesn't like me anymore, because her friends were annoying".
Anyways, school has ended. And my (2) close friends tell me that he really does likes me, and looks sad when he looks at me or whatever.
I don't know who to believe. Next year, we're going to highschool. Should I just forget about? He could be lying. Any help is great, thanks.

i think you should talk to him..honestly, those girls are probably just saying that stuff to make you forget about him..and you guys have been friends before so it shouldn't be a problem talking to him..=] hope it helped a little!!

It seems that he does like you but dont just assume that he does, this tori girl could be lying about what he said just to get you not to like him anymore..but who knows, i think you should ask him who he likes and flirt with him alot, or have other people ask him who he likes. Hope i helped

DO NOT TRUST GIRLS. They will only backstab you. Seriously, most girls are only worried about themselves, and they don't care about anyone else. Especially don't trust girls who like the same guy as you. She is just trying to get you away from him so she can go for him. You just really need to know who you can trust and who you can't. Don't take anything to heart from someone like callie, who you didn't know well enough to know that she was a gossip. I think it sounds like you should stick with your close friends, because they seem loyal. I think you should keep talking to tiger, it sounds like he really likes you. Unless you have a good reason not to trust him, I think he sounds like hes telling the truth, and he likes you, so go for it!

I am going through the same thing. my "friend" tori(same name freaky) liked the same guy i did and would say stuff to me about him and her and it hurt and then he would call me and say he would never date her. but on the last day of school he asked me out and i said no so he asked tori out she said yes. but i wouldnt believe the other girls because what ive learned is that not to belive a girl who likes the same guy as you because they will lie to get what they want and too believe your friends or maybe you could ask the guy if he actually said that. but i would do it in person to see if hes making eye contact and other stuff to prove hes not lying. im sorry this was so long.
