my bird needs your magic words

Okay, Blade...I wonder if you know who this is.
but yesterday I cleaned out my birds cage, and there was like little maggots/worms in his cage. I got rid of them, but now he seems really sad...like hes not complete, And I dont kno if its from the worms, maybe he got attatched to them....but I think they were from his food...I dont know, I think I need your advice on weather I should have kept the worms in there or not... =o\
