The Galapagos Islands
Has anyone been to the Galapagos Islands? If so, how was it and would you recommend anyone else going?

Personally, I haven't been there. I've seen a segment on TV about it, though. I was really amazed at the beauty of the place !! Galapagos has amazing sealife there. There are many rare species of animals that live in Galapagos, that aren't around the states or in other parts of the world. If you're into photography, that would be the number one place to get great pics.
Some of the wildlife included:
Giant Tortoises
Iguanas
Geckos
Snakes
Lava Lizards
Galapagos Penguins
ect.
The Giant Tortoises are the main beauties of Galapagos. There are only 11 of them left in the world, and most of them reside in Galapagos.

I have not been to the Galapogos Islands but my brother was there a few years ago. He has travelled all over South America and this was his favorite spot. He is a diver and the islands are known for their amazing sea life. His pictures are incredible. Good luck with your trip-planning.
