I have soccer camp all month long in august and the coach said "your not going to the camp to get fit.. you have to be fit before coming to the camp" and everyone that has been to that camp said you run almost the entire time. I'm really worried that I'm not fit for the camp. I try to go out and run, but I'm never motivated. I'm not motivated to do any kind of exercise, but I really want to. I'm not what you call a fast runner. I'm better with my soccer footwork then running, and it's always going to be like that. Anyway, is there any way I can get more motivated and more fit before camp starts? thanks in advance =]
FEF1992 answered Monday June 26 2006, 3:44 pm: well i like soccer too. i have never been to a camp b/c i just started so im scared ill be behind the rest of the class. But when i want to train for basketball, i HATE it SO i just think if it's a sport i like and i want to stick with it im gonna try harder. And i say to myself that people i like find it impressive that i have enough motivation to run. try training with a friend i train with a tred-mil and watch tv while im runing. you can try listening to music while you run too. Hope i helped!!
