Judging by what you have said, I would think it unlikely that you will be on your period at the time you go on holiday, as it should be due before you leave. However, if you want to be extra-careful, you might want to try speaking with your doctor. I went to Tenerife back some years ago but was due to get my period while I was there. I spoke to my doctor about it and he provided me with some tablets to prevent your period from arriving until you are ready for it.

I doubt these are suitable for regular use but you start taking them a few days before you think your period might be due (I would suggest that as it seems your cycle is still irregular, you begin taking it on the day your period would have to arrive for it to finish in time for your holiday), then take one every day until you are ready for it to arrive. Then, when you are home again, stop taking it and it should arrive two-three days after this. Obviously, this may vary according to what your doctor can provide you with.

Have a chat with your doctor and see what he can do.
