Dentist
You know the stuff they use to numb your mouth at the dentist? I don't know what it's called. Well I know that after it wears off, you mouth is still a little sore from the needles but how long is it supposed to stay sore? It's been 4 days for me and I still can't even sleep on my left cheek because of it. The soreness has never lasted so long.

Well its called novicane i got 5 teeth pulled yes it will be sore take some medicine to take away the soreness well i don't think i could feel it because i was asleep after they pulled um and i was at home i fell straight asleep for about 2 days and never awoke till like the next next day hehe well it might be really sore thats really normal. if hurts for about more then a week you really might want to ask the doctor it depends on how many shot of novicane they gave you well i got 17 and it hurt for about a few days but if it still hurts go ask a dentist

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. For me, it usually takes about a week for the soreness to go away, so you shouldn't have too much longer. I'd say that if it hurts for more than 2 weeks, call you dentist back and tell him/her.

you should call the dentist and tell them your problem because it might be some kind of infection or something that needs to be treated.
im no dentist or doctor so im not sure. so dont worry but deffinitly call and tell them what is gong on.

Four days is too long for your mouth to still be sore. It really shouldn't last much longer than the day of. I would call your dentist or see a doctor because it is possible that something went wrong. Even if your mouth is still sore, you should be able to sleep on that side. It shouldn't be that sore. If you had your teeth pulled or a root canal, or some other invasive procedure and this is your first time the pain might be caused by that. Still, call your dentist or doctor and find out whats going on. Good Luck.

Generally, it's novocaine. Four days is too long to be sore, it should have worn off after a few hours.
You should probably call your dentist and ask why it might be sore this long; he might have used something different, or done something differently.
