Teza answered Monday June 19 2006, 9:12 pm: If you are willing to lose weight, you have to be patient. It won't just come off really fast because it takes time. First thing you should start with is your diet. You might read something in a magazine and then hear something else on TV about health and nutrition. Well, the good news is that eating healthy doesn't completly mean giving up on those chocolate brownies. It's actually about making choices from a variety of foods and the amounts of food you consume. The better your choices are, the healthier you'll feel. You need carbs and proteing. So, if you're having trouble deciding what to eat, just think about it. Would you rather eat some cake or run an hour to burn those calories off? Stick with healthier foods and not all health food is nasty. Give it a try and just look up some recepies. Eat 6 meals a day and that's including 3 full meals and snacks. Cut back of soda, junk food, fast food, and such. You should know what's good and what's bad. Count how many calories you intake each day and try to have 2,000 or so. It's going to be hard for a while, but it's worth it. You're going to feel great after you lose those first 10 pounds and then you should just keep going. Exercise. If you're not in the mood, make yourself do something. You need to keep active and keep moving. Walk around your neighborhood wih a friend, bikes, swimming, sports. Do your parents a favor and vacume the whole house. It will burn off calories. Jog up the stairs a couple times. When you're at the mall, instead of taking the escalator, take the stairs.
