high school....
I'm really nervous on starting high school. Even though its summer vacation, I'm just really scared. I'm affraid I wont make any friends, because my brother said he didn't really have any friends his freshmen year. But even though thats my brother, I'm still really scared. I feel like I wont fit in because me being a girl, I love video games and anime (japanese cartoons) and there wont be any girl in there that will like that same thing I do. and they'll probably all think I'm weird for liking that stuff. Is there anyway I could make some good friends, that will like me, even though I like stuff like that? thanks! :D

You won't have any problem making friends. Its not all that different from middle school. Kids are the same ones you saw this year and won't be changing much more than you. I agree any change is a scary thought but you will do fine.
As for the video games...well, I'm 48 and play them all the time. I would be lost without my ps2! Since Final Fantasy games are my faves I guess I like anime too. SO, there is bound to be other girls who like them too. If they don't when you meet them then maybe its something new you can teach them about!
Don't worry. You will love high school. :)
