However, it is difficult to tell because there are lots of different types of bumps that you can get in that area for lots of different reasons.
The best thing that I can recommend is that if it hasn't gone away in around a week, then you should get it checked out by a doctor. If it is something simple like a cut, a week should be long enough for the swelling to go down or for it to disappear. If it is still there, please do get it checked out. dottie4 answered Friday June 16 2006, 3:27 pm: It's probaly nothing. I've never heard of getting and STD from getting fingered. He may have done it to hard or something. I would give it a few days. If it's still there I'd get it checked out, just to be 100% positive. It's probaly nothing to worry about, but it's good that you care enough about your body.
