I don't know what works good on acne. I know I've taken pan of boiling water (use extreme caution the steam will burn you!), put a towel over my head to keep the steam in and steamed my face before. Cleans out your pores pretty good.
You don't want to get to close until the water cools down a little.
They do make steam machines for it too if you can afford one.
We aren't allowed to chat on here so I will tell you on this question and delete the other two.
