KELLY_ELIZABETH answered Thursday June 8 2006, 9:44 am: maybe the boy that had one was jewish and was having a barmitzvah. those are very common at the 7th grade age, because its when most people turn 13. anyway - i want to start by saying that being popular isnt everything. but since you asked - im here to help. you can always have a party at your house. maybe in your back yard or if you have a big room then have it in there. or you could always rent a hall or something. but if its not that big of a birthday, then idk if you should do that. if you are thinking of having a BIG BIG party, then maybe have a joined one with another friend or two. then your parents arent so stressed about all the prices as well. and the more people hosting means the more people you can invite. and more people for you to meet and become more popular. its not really hard to have a party, just plan where you want it and how is gonna be. formal, fun, fancy, whatever. also a theme is good. and black and white is always fun. you could also do a party maybe on halloween - then have a costume party and its like close to your birthday. have fun at the party, and good luck
