ME AND MY EX Girlfriend/ Best Friend

me and this girl we met 4 years ago. and we became best friends. i really loved her and the way she was so i asked her out.. now she broke up with me cos she says that her parents dont like me. she says she wants to move on. when we talk now it really hurts cos i miss telling her how much i care abt her. Wat do i do ? i wanna become close friends again atleast. also how do i get over her ?

Tell her you just want to be friends now. I assume by moving on you mean moving on from a "couple" type relationship.
As far as getting over her goes, there's really not too much you can do. Try to keep yourself occupied and meet new people. Keep your eye open for other girls. The pain will leave with time.
