friend

Question Posted Friday June 2 2006, 6:06 pm

ok i've had this friend for a long time i guess you can say. i met her in 2nd grade & we were friends for awhile & in ms & now hs. i'm a sophmore right now, & so is she, & awhile ago we were talking about how my school has a lot of drama & gossip. she told me if i heard people talking about her, to tell her. well, i did. a few of my friends told me that she had oral sex. okayy maybe not a big deal, but this is a friend i've known since elem & played power rangers with when we were like 8!! plus she's really quiet & shy. it's juss weird to me. i'm almost positive they're not lying. i def don't think i should tell her this but i want to. it was with some guy, not really her bf but sort've & i don't think of her the same at all. we're not best friends er anything but she was still my friend. soo basically should i say something er not?? i heard it from a few people so it's not a big secret i guess.

thanks!!

Regardless if she is your best friend or just a "regular" friend, she has the right to know what people are saying about her. Wouldn't you want to know? Even if it isn't true, she can try and stop the rumor, but she has to know about it first.

I would tell her.

Good Luck.
Alina

the same thing happened to me! except we hadnt known each other as long..she was my best friend in ms but we shyed off a little in high school. we go to different schools and i had heard things about her giving head to one of her friends. it turned out to be a rumor thank GOD but i was still freaked out and didnt know if i should approach her about it. i did eventually which was when i found out the truth. i really dont think it would do any harm in asking. if it does, its her problem not yours. she shouldnt get all upset because you ask a simple question. but the only thing is..make sure you're calm and chill about it when you talk. it'll make things wayyyyy easier. just try to understand where shes coming from and why she did it? maybe she regrets it and knows people are talking..you'll never know unless you ask. good luck! i hope i helped :]
