Question Posted Wednesday July 30 2008, 7:50 pm

im like 110 pounds or so. and i have this friend. shes on the bigger side. im a tall person ( like 5'6ish) and shes like 4'11. she always thinks taht shes smaller than me. when everyone knows shes not. she yells at me for thinking that im not fat. she really makes me feel bad because i used to be like 90 pounds in like 7th grade and then i gained that weight as i got older ( im in 10th now ) what should i do about this girl and her 'your fat, im not' thing?

She is upset about her weight and insecure with herself, therefore, she complains about you to make herself look better (even though it's making her look worse). I think you should try talking to her about it and letting her know that it hurts your feelings when she says those things, and that she would not want you to treat her that way and that you wouldn't do that to her. If she doesn't change soon, I wouldn't be her friend anymore. Friends are there to support each other, not be jealous and hurtful to one another.

maybe the next time she brings it up you can say; well i'm happy w/ how i look & how much i weigh. & if that doesn't work & you wanna take like extreme measures... then if you go on the computer w/ her @ your house.. you can leave on am-i-fat.com & click on am i fat? on the left & be like oh i foudn this online its really cool you should try it & it can tell her w/o her being mad @ you.

hope one of those workk =]

She is probably trying to make herself feel better about her weight. 110 pounds at 5'6 is skinny, so you have nothing to worry about. Don't let her get to you.

don't feel bad.. 110 pounds is skinny for 5'6. you're at a good weight. she's just jealous of you. pay no attention to her. don't let her make you feel bad because that is what she is trying to do. if she sees that she is getting to you it will give her satisfaction.. so act like you don't care.
