that would qualify as sex and ending your virginity. technically. and the breaking of the hymen isn't what takes a girl's v-card, it's plainly having sex. don't worry too much about it... it's not something to really stress and freak out over... at least now the tension between you two are over and you can talk and decide more about how you want to progress in the relationship.

Sorry to say but you are no longer a virgin. He may not have gone all the way in, or cum inside you but you went beyond the boundaries of being chaste. It is not seen as something 'bad' losing your virginity nowadays so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Even if your 'cherry didn't pop' that doesn't not make you a virgin. If the hymen being intact is what made you a virgin, many actual virgins wouldn't be consitered virgins just because their hymen broke while horsebackriding, pole, or masturbating. Some people's hymen don't break even after they've had sex.
