sweet 16
I want to have a sweet sixteen. I cant have anything big, but i still want a party. What are some good themes? Elaborate please. Btw, my birthday is in novemember.

For mine I'm having a Hollywood theme. If you can't have anything big you can just have a cookout luau kinda thing, but inside ((november)). If you search the internet for sweet 16 party ideas you can find something close to your interests. Your part doesn't need to be huge or anything to be special. some others are
-hollywood :: stars, costumes, boas, sunglasses, fake awards to give out, etc.
-luau :: hawaiin leis, fruit punch, coconuts, palm trees, monkeys, hula skirts, cocnut bras, bathing suits ((make sure its warm in the house!))
-vegas :: card games [45's, poker, texas hold em, black jack, craps, roullette] and dice games, ((betting with candy or fake chips that award a prize or something soecial at the end maybe?)) red & black decorations
-any decade (90's 80's etc):: antyhing according to the decade
-(girls only kinda) chicks night aka mani & pedi party :: just supply the stuff and have your friends bring stuff and put on a mix cd of your favorite songs and make it a fun chick's night in complete with chocolate, cake, icecream, tons of make up, dress up stuff ((have a fashion show with your friends?)) and ofcourse...The Notebook!! ;-]

Well, I've been to alot of parties that had themes & these were my favorite.
1. 80's theme. Nothing is more fun than some retro hair-do's and good music.
2. 50's theme. Poodle skirts and pearl necklaces were always fun. It took the guys a while to swing dance with the girls, but after a while it was alot of fun.
3. Greek Theme.
4. Egyptian Theme.

Egyptian Night: Make your house or where ever its going to be at seem like a real egyptian experience. You can buy some egyptian decorations. What would be really cute is if you did an egyptian dance as the grand opening.

Hollywood Party: Have everything glamorous. What would be really nice is if you could get some of your friends together and you'll could have a fashion show at the party. Have fake money everywhere.

Pretty in Pink: Everything pink. You could make it a rule that everyone must have on some type of pink to get in. If you don't like that just make sure everything else is cute and pink.

Back in Time: You can have a party with a themes of an earlier decade like the 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s. You can have that decade music, do their dances, and dress the way they use to dress. Here is a website for the 70s.

Night in Paris: Make your house or where ever its going to be held seem like a real paris experience. You can buy a little fake Eiffel Tower. Serve French food. Pass out berets for people to wear.
