k, 2 questions.
1. is bare minerals worth the money? whats good & bad about it
2. would it be good for my skin type(i have combonation skin, and around my nose my skin is flaky even when i put moisturizer on, so sometimes liquid makeup makes it look worse, because under my nose is red & really flaky, idk why its been like that for like the past year, so the makeup makes it look disgusting & cakey & just weirdd loll)
loves2shop86 answered Friday May 26 2006, 11:31 am: hey!! ok let's answer both of your questions:
1) my friend's roomate in college uses it, and my friend told me that it made a HUGE difference and looked really really good! from that, i'm guessing it works! but here is a website of more reviews of people who own it... if you like what they said, you will probably like it too. just click on "read reviews" in the right column to read what people thought about each part of the kit.
2) the flaky combination skin thing... i think that can be fixed if you invest in a good facial moisturizer and a good face wash that exfoliates. i use l'oreal with little exfoliating beads in it, and that gets rid of all dead skin... no more flaking. wash your face every morning and night with it, and then moisturize right after you wash! don't EVER skip moisturizing... it will make the oily parts of your face less oily, and it will moisturize the dry parts! it is soo important.
if after a while you don't see an improvement, then go to the dermatologist and have him give you something stronger to get rid of the problem! :) good luck and let me know if you need more help! [ loves2shop86's advice column | Ask loves2shop86 A Question ]

2) I used to have that same problems as a child, apply some hydrocortisone cream to the flakey area and use as few products as possible to cover it up. Let it breath. It's an allergy response of the skin, a type of eczema. [ Tulipg17's advice column | Ask Tulipg17 A Question ]
